Description

Lead Identification Markers are sharp faced and can be bought in packs of 20, or in kits.

Sharp faced are generally used for x-radiography and produce a well defined, clean image on the film.

Sharp faced markers are measured on the front sharp face (peak) of the character, meaning the marker is always a little larger than the stated size. See image below.

Fig 1. A sharp faced 6.3mm (1/4″) lead marker. The 6.3mm size refers to the height if the letter at the front sharp face, even though the height of the marker is 8mm at the base.
