Sonatest Ltd has released a new protective rubber boot accessory for the D-Series shaped Flaw Detectors.
The Rubber Boot fits snugly over the D-Series shape still allowing for one handed operation and easy access to the keypad and operational controls, whilst providing protection from the surrounding environment and elements.
The new rubber protective shell is constructed using Santoprene, which is a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV). TPVs have proven to be dependable polymers for many flexible engineered parts that are needed to deliver long-term performance in demanding industrial applications.
