Type I (Brass) indicators are intended for general engineering applications.
Magnetic Flux Indicators – Brass
Description
Used to prove the presence of an external magnetic field above the magnetised surface and to obtain an estimate of tangential field strength. Type I indicators are intended for general engineering applications.
Supplied in a PVC wallet containing 5 laminated Mu-Metal strips with precision made defects in. Includes 4 x strips and 1 x radial indicator for complex shapes.
These strips can indicated both the presence and direction of magnetic fields particularly when using current flow and coil techniques. Flux indicator strips are also a fantastic teaching aid when explaining the MPI method. Suitable for type I and type II applications with RPS 700 conformity.
