Single packet powdered UT couplants provide an economical solution for travel, remote access inspections and storage limitations. EchoMix Single is a one-part (one packet) powder, easily mixed in ambient water in five minutes, providing a strong, continuous coupling film that adheres well to vertical and overhead surfaces. Single mix packet, one step mixing.

Normal incidence shear wave transducers require a stiff, high viscosity couplant to support shear waves. Echo Shear Wave ultrasonic couplant transmits normal incidence (zero degree) shear waves, is nontoxic, water-soluble and easily applied and removed. A small amount of Echo Shear Wave Couplant should be placed on the face of the transducer or the test piece and then pressed into a thin layer. For optimum coupling, it is important that the couplant layer be thin.

Echo Z+ is a high acoustic-impedance ultrasonic couplant. It increases acoustic impedance and decreases surface noise, making it ideal for very rough, pitted, corroded surfaces or tight-curved test objects, and concrete. Echo Z+ contains no VOCs, naptha, oil, hydrocarbons, silicones, petroleum distillates, dyes or fragrance. Contains a short term ferrous corrosion inhibitor. Echo Z+ contains glycerin and is intended to be removed from non-ferrous metal parts after inspection.

EchoPure is an ideal couplant for very cold environment inspections and will not frost on test objects causing attenuation at temperatures as low as -60˚F/51˚C. EchoPure is also excellent for ambient and elevated temperature use such as warm welds up to 350˚F and on pipe in the desert summer sun, where slow evaporation and long inspection windows are desired. Available in 3 viscosities: Low viscosity fluid, medium viscosity gel, and high viscosity gel.

The first and only high temperature ultrasonic couplant that has an auto-ignition temperature and flash point above 1300ºF. With no minimum operating range, no residue, less smoke and no auto-ignition under 1300ºF, EchoTherm Extreme is an ideal couplant for port inspections. EchoTherm Extreme is a high viscosity paste that adheres well to the transducer.
